“My time spent in Jennelle’s practice enabled my body and mind to feel an overall relaxation that I haven’t felt in far too long. The pain in my neck is on day two of the best it’s felt in months. I have to say that the feeling of peace I experienced in Jennelle’s practice the entire day afterwards was special.”
— DOUG MYERS, LANSING, IOWA
“I was struggling with pain in my left hip that cascaded into my thigh. It was very uncomfortable to walk. I was skeptical that Zero Balancing could help, but decided to try it anyway. It was surprising, but the work Jennelle did really paid off. I am now able to walk without pain. I am a stroke survivor and these sessions have changed my life.”

Jen Shepard, LMT

Jen has been practicing Massage Therapy for thirty years. Since 1990, she has learned many different styles and techniques including Ayurvedic  Panchakarma Techniques, Swedish Massage,  Neuromuscular Therapy and most recently Lymphatic Drainage Therapy.  Through the years, Jen has combined these modalities into her own style. Her massage has a structural basis with an eye toward specific muscular attachments. As she gives a massage, she gently moves joints to determine where that movement is restricted and then targets those specific muscles. Her massage can be gentle and light or deep, depending on the needs of her clients.

Her most influential teachers have been Doug Nelson with Precision Neuromuscular Therapy, Whitney Lowe with Orthopedic Massage and Eric Franklin with Dynamic Movement Imagery through the Franklin Method. Jen is the owner of Massage For Health, LLC. She has been Nationally Certified since 1993 with NCBTMB, is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals and is licensed to practice Massage Therapy in Wisconsin (#551-146). Jen also holds, with honors, a BS degree in Biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire.

“Jen’s massage is both relaxing and invigorating. I am always amazed at how fast she finds the area that needs the most attention. Her combination of deep and gentle massage techniques support me with everything from managing stress to recovering from over zealous gardening!”
— JR, Viroqua
“I have received massage therapy from Jen Shepard for the last 6 or 7 years, and it has been really beneficial to me. Of course a massage is a great way to relax, but Jen’s knowledge and ability as a therapist has helped me overcome a lot of aches and pains, and I am convinced that her advice on exercises and things to avoid helped me recover from a hip replacement much more quickly.”
